Major Somerton
After graduating with a BSc(Hons) from London University in 1973, Major Somerton worked in industry for a number of years, gaining valuable experience of the commercial world. He subsequently moved into the public sector, working in the legal department of two local authorities where he qualified as a solicitor specialising in litigation. In 1980, he moved to Cambridgeshire and, two years later, set up a private practice covering most areas of legal work.
Despite the high profile content of some of the litigation work that he undertook previously, Major Somerton now concentrates on the commercial and property areas of the law.
