Robert Stratton

Robert Stratton started work at the age of 17 as an outdoor clerk with the London firm of Lawford & Co. Within a year, he was doing mortgage work for a national lender. After moving to Cambridge, he joined Wild Hewitson & Shaw (Hewitson Becke + Shaw) to undertake conveyancing work. Whilst there, he studied for and passed the Associate Legal Executive exams. Ten years later, and as a senior member of staff, he left to join Walkers. Following a six year stint there, he went into practice with a local firm of licensed conveyancers, but returned to a solicitors' practice when he joined Major Somerton and Peter Fletcher in 1993.

Robert Stratton concentrates on property work.
